Physical activity during first years of a life provides many advantages. A child who is involved into the simple physical activity from the very first days is to be healthier. Childish fitness is a guarantee of the good bones, muscles, organs development.

Nine-twelve months old

Coordination is the first characteristic of this age. A child tries himself in crawling more active and makes the first attempts to walk by himself. So, the active exercises are much needed during this period.

Tell your child that it is high time to start own training, sometimes even without your help. Show the complex of the exercises and how he is to do them. First of all, he is to start with bonding his hands and legs. Your role is limited with oral support. Each exercise is to be repeated for five times. After that a child is to try standing on his legs. It is not an easy action to do without help. So, your role is to help him a little. Next exercise is semi-active. The matter is that a child is to stand on his feet leaning on the adult's legs and trying to catch a toy which lies on the floor. In such a way a child makes the inclinations. He is to do it for three times. Another exercise is similar to the previous one, but with a single difference – a toy is to be placed on some horizontal shoulder-level surface opposite a child.

You can propose a child to hold the rings and pull them to his chest. So, the hands of a child are working this time.

Squatting is a new exercise. During making it, you have to help a child lifting him by the armpits.

One more exercise which is made by a child without any help is walking. Do not prevent a child when he starts walking. Some parents become so happy and excited about it that they rush to kiss and hug a child. In such a way you risk to achieve an opposite result –a child could be frightened and stop walking for a quite long time. Help a child to walk every day for two-three minutes and soon you will face another trouble – how to make this fidget to sit calmly for two or three minutes.
