Four-five months old

In order to improve your child's development, during this period it is better to pay more attention to the legs and neck muscles.

Among the passive exercises hands' crossing is recommended. It is to be repeated for six-eight times every session with the short breaks between the sets.

Many exercises are hold in the similar way. So, you know about such exercise when you held a baby on your palm, rising above the surface. In this case, such position allows a baby to keep his head, spine and legs straight or bond his spine and legs. This process is to be short – one or two repeating is enough.

One more passive exercise is called "stamping". Hold your baby's legs and make stamping movements as if he can do it by his own. Such kind of walking adjusts a baby to the future process of walking. It is to be repeated often for eight-twelve times.

Sometimes you can turn your baby from his back to his belly and visa versa. Repeat twice – that's enough for the first time. Also it is allowed to stretch a baby's hands holding his wrists. It is better to do two or three times. The similar exercise is possible, but if a baby lies on his belly and you cross his hands behind his back for two or three times.

The children's doctors say that it is worthy playing with a child. Invent your own exercises on the base of the previous ones and devote them ten-fifteen minutes every day.
